It’s the wedding extravaganza of the year on Saturday 19th May, as Meghan Markle of Suits fame finally becomes a Princess when she marries Prince Harry!

First fun fact of the day, it turns out it’s not Harry marrying Meg at all, as neither use their real names! Harry was actually born Henry Charles Albert David and Meghan’s birth certificate reads Rachel Meghan Markle. Henry and Rachel or Harry and Meg, it doesn’t really matter… all eyes will still be glued to these two this Saturday as the wedding of the year takes place.

Second fun fact - 2 billion people tuned in to watch the Duke of Cambridge marry Kate Middleton, and we woder how many people will be watching on Saturday!

At the beginning of the year PLP launched our new luxury wedding collection, a selection of ‘styling your wedding day’ accessories and wedding gifts to make bridal showers, hen parties and the Big Day itself, even more personal.

Many of our photoshoots have been styled in the gorgeous showroom of Neptune Home Hailsham, and the background accessories you see in some of the photos are available to buy at Neptune - such as the gorgeous bedding, faux flowers and wardrobes.

We are lucky enough to be featured in a double page spread in the May Wedding Edition of etc magazine this month – take a peek at the photos below for ideas on how to style your wedding day, as featured in the magazine! We're chuffed that they included our personalised Page Boy romper too, because we obviously love including children in our collections as well!

We’ve taken care to curate our collection with the colours and print colours that work the best together for both photography and themes on your wedding day. Our accessories can be personalised with names, new surname, the role of each person in the bridal party and the date of your nuptials. So whether you are looking for kimono style wedding robes for the bridal party on the morning of your wedding, or a Mr and Mrs Honeymoon Holdall to add extra glam to the departure lounge as you jet off in style – we’ve thought of every little detail to make your special moments fit for a princess.

And, at the end of the day, whether you are getting married in the grounds of Windsor Castle with billions of people tuning in to watch, or you’re having a more private affair (!), we’d love to hear from you and work together to make your special day a celebration to remember for a lifetime.

We love to see your wedding photos on Instagram too! If you’ve incorporated the PLP wedding collection into your Big Day tag us with @preciouslittleplum or #PLPwedding
